Come join local artists Jacky Purtill and Rachel Davis for a fun packed River Test inspired arts and
crafts weekend. We have so many water and nature themed activities and process for you to try and
you also have the opportunity to collaborate with lots of playmates on our River Test themed fabric
mural. We are so looking forward to seeing you but in the meantime here is a little snapshot of what
you can come and try;

• Riverside themed tin foil transfer printing – a hands on, splashy, colour filled process art technique
• Botanical stencilling – explore oil pastels and make and take your own piece of 2D artwork
• Clay painting – decorate your own piece of nature shaped clay, you can turn it into a necklace too
• Metal embossing – come and apply colour to a range of metal embossed river creatures.  You can take your 2D artwork home with you too and bring the outside in
• Marshmallow printing – find out how we can use marshmallows to print a giant caterpillar
