Family tickets
A daily family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) costs £20 (ie, £5 per person).
Individual adult and child daily activity tickets can be purchased for £5.
All activities once inside the festival are included!
Children age 2 and over are required to have tickets. No need to purchase a ticket for those under the age of 2.
Free family tickets are available for children who are eligible for free school meals at Whitchurch Primary School. These tickets are distributed via the school and are monitored.
Please note no dogs are allowed on the festival site.
Neurodiversity Support
Our event is organised by a community group of volunteers (Whitchurch Conservation Group).
We have taken various steps to hopefully make our event accessible to all, though unfortunately, we simply don’t have the resources or logistical ability to allow for pre-booking of sessions, which we are aware might be a request.
We have tried our best to allow for some structure within the program, please use this to help guide you.
On a practical level; we can also suggest that you try to visit the festival at quieter times of the day, typically towards late afternoon, avoiding late morning and lunchtime.
We have worked with a Basingstoke-based Speech and Language Therapist (Harriet Hunter) with a specialism in Autism and neurodivergence to try to provide some support during the festival for those who are neurodivergent.
Harriet has produced a short pdf guide which outlines what to expect with as much information as possible, for example if an activity is going to have loud noises or sudden surprises, or might be sensorily overwhelming. Within the guide, there are short social stories to explain how the day might work, as well as some useful now/then/next and planning boards.
We will have a few hard copies printed out and these will be available at the information desk when you check in. The online version is available below.

Activity Trail Map
On arrival at the festival, you will receive a printed programme and each child will be given an Activity Trail Map so that they can make their own journey of arts exploration and choose which activities they would like to try out.
Arts Award Discover Certificate
This is an additional, optional extra cost at £4 per child, payable when you order your festival tickets.
All activities are included in the ticket price; however, if you would like your child to receive an Arts Council ‘Discover’ certificate, as a form of achievement, you will need to purchase this Certificate as an additional charge when you purchase your festival ticket.
We will contact you before the festival to ask you the name of your child’s school so that we can send on certificates to them after the festival.
Buggies and pushchairs
Buggies and pushchairs are welcome. The festival site is predominantly flat and grassy. The watermeadow is fenced securely and no dogs allowed on site so that it is a safe and friendly environment for small children.
Children’s safety
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 21 years old (Maximum ratio 1:4) : we do not allow unaccompanied children.
Children are the responsibility of their parents and carers at ALL times.
Activity workshop providers have all been DBS checked
Meeting Point / Lost Children
We have a general meeting point which is the Information Area, near to the Watermeadow Gate.
First Aid
We have first aid provision on site and this is sited by the Information Area (David’s First Aid)
If you require first aid, please make your way to the first aid point at the Information Area. In an emergency, please alert one of the festival stewards who will call for a medic to attend.
