The festival site is a mere 5-minute walk from the centre of Whitchurch.

The festival site is the Fulling Mill watermeadow by the River Test: this is accessed by a lane and footpath opposite All Hallows’ Church on Church Street. This lane will be well signposted for the duration of the festival.

Alternatively, from the town centre, turn into Winchester St and walk past Whitchurch Silk Mill (on your right) and continue for 3 minutes until you reach a road called The Weir. This leads onto a riverside footpath which brings you around to the watermeadow check-in point.

The Weir is temporarily closed to all traffic (other than residents) for the festival weekend, and is pedestrian access only.

Finding the Festival Site – Postcode

If you’re driving to Whitchurch, please note that the festival site itself does not have a specific postcode, as it is pedestrian access only.

Please use the postcode of a prepaid car parking site and follow the signposted directions from there. The festival site will be clearly signposted to help guide you.

Head towards All Hallows’ Church on Church St – the festival site is opposite, down a lane leading to the River Test.

Prepaid Parking Options

To make your visit hassle-free, we offer two prepaid parking options, which you can book when purchasing your festival tickets. At checkout, you’ll be asked to provide your car registration so we can check you in smoothly on the day.

• Around a 7-minute walk to the festival site

Other Parking Options – Bell St Car Park

If you haven’t booked prepaid parking, we recommend heading to Bell Street Car Park (RG28 7DD), where some free spaces might be available.

We ask you to kindly please not inconvenience local residents by parking inconsiderately.

We whole-heartedly encourage you to cycle to Whitchurch Children’s Festival

Please make your way to the access lane arrival point (by Church St, opposite All Hallows’ Church).

There is a cycle park located behind the main stage area.

**please note while stewards will be patrolling the area – bikes are still left at the owner’s risk**

We recommend that you use the access lane by Church St instead of The Weir footpath.

The nearest train station is Whitchurch train station. This is approximately 1 hour from London (Clapham Junction and Waterloo).

It is a 15 minute walk from the train station to the town centre; there is a sign outside the train station to direct you to the town centre.

From the town centre, there are two routes into the festival site – via The Weir or the access lane opposite All Hallows’ Church. (both detailed above)
