‘The Miller and the Trees’ – This is a great performance story with lots of interaction. It has a wonderful environmental message which relates to protecting nature and trees. The story itself is set around a mill and the river, so links really well to the Whitchurch Silk Mill and the river there.

Amanda Kane-Smith is a professional storyteller and author based in Andover, Hampshire. She specialises in interactive, high-energy storytelling and has a wealth of stories up her sleeve ready to share.
Under the name Merry-go-Round Storytelling, Amanda also specialises in storytelling workshops and interactive storytelling, craft, and drama sessions for children.
She has worked with a variety of organisations and charities including, The National Trust, English Heritage, and The Hawk Conservancy Trust.
