Saturday 26th July and Sunday 27th July | Drop-in | dedicated area for children under 5 | Venue: Watermeadow Gazebo
Artist Kiri Horikiri-White will be leading activities in the CraftZone, a dedicated creative area for little ones.
Children and their families will explore personal and imagined stories inspired by the flowing magic of the River Test: “The River Test of Stories”.
Using accessible art materials such as coloured paper, pencils and pens, the children will create a collaborative tapestry depicting life in and around the River Test.
Children will be invited to draw, cut, and stick their creations directly onto the tapestry – they can create river creatures, plants, flowers, birds, fish (like the famous River Test trout!), animals, fairies, or people, either from personal memory or imagination.
