Jewellery making

Saturday 26th July and Sunday 27th July | Sessions every 30 mins; age 5+, parental guidance required | Venue: Watermeadow Gazebo #8

In this workshop children and their families will learn all about hammering sheet and wire
copper or brass to create texture on their pendants of trout, kingfishers or a map of the river.

How they will do these: using stencils and their own drawing skills they will trace out the shape and then it will be cut with scissors by a helper. They will then use different texture hammers and press-methods to create different textures on their pendants. A hole will be punched through, a jump ring added to hang on a ribbon. Wire can be formed to create the shape of the River Test and using hammers give texture to it.
